By continuously improving the standards of technological products through innovation, the product cycle is becoming shorter and the technological leap is also increasing. This development is also true in gear manufacturing. More precise calculation methods, continuously improving computing power, and continuously improving technical knowledge (such as in material technology, stability, and tribology) have mobilized reserve capabilities, resulting in a reduction of approximately 80% in gearbox weight within 20 years.
